From our founding in 1997, through several recessions, a pandemic and a host of other challenges, Lightbridge Academy has remained steadfast in our mission to be The Solution for Working Parents® as a leader in early education and child care. Our mission to illuminate young minds while helping everyone in our Circle of Care along life’s journey is achieved through our brand’s core values and Circle of Care philosophy — a philosophy that brings parents, children, franchise owners, staff members and entire communities together to support and enrich the health, well-being and education of children.
We launched franchising in 2011, and we currently have over 140 child care centers open, under construction or in development throughout Florida, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

Why i Bought a Lightbridge Academy
In 2019, franchisee couple Greg and Dina Hamwi of Holmdel, New Jersey opened the doors of their very own Lightbridge Academy child care center in Shrewsbury, New Jersey with the goal of raising the bar for education in their community.
